"Brazilian inspired guitar music"
Caliente guitarists Mike Bevan and Al Valodze are known for their intricate arrangements of Brazilian choro and samba music, as well as textured jazz improvisation. The duo recently performed at the Adelaide International Guitar Festival, the East End Jazz Festival and as the opening support to Yasmin Levy. Fellow guitarist Dylan Woolcock has recently joined the ensemble, which will present a new repertoire of guitar trio music, performed on six and seven string guitars, mandolin and cavaquinho.
